Data Engineer (ETL & Migration)

Your expertise in building complex data pipelines, migrating and transforming data between systems, and collaborating with stakeholders, project managers, and Data and Business analysts will drive impactful solutions and help tackle exciting data challenges.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build robust ETL data pipelines using SQL, APIs, and custom import logic
- Create data mappings between source and target systems within the transformation layer
- Develop testing processes to prevent data loss or data corruption
- Work with both relational and non-relational data to achieve full data mapping
- Collaborate with Business and Data analysts to ensure data quality and proper business logic
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery
- Collaborate with an agile delivery team by working on backlog items and priorities
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Engineer, or Data Migration Engineer
- Expertise in database design and management, including SQL databases such as SQL Server
- Strong command in Python or similar programming languages for building custom pipelines, data cleaning, transformations, and automation
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes for data integration
- Proficiency in Data validation and Reconciliation
- Hands-on experience working with APIs (Python, Postman)
- Strong knowledge of Data modeling principles and techniques
- Experience with Version control systems (Git)
- Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with PowerShell or Bash scripting is a plus
