What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and participate in all stages of the software development life cycle, from concept to implementation
- Independently design, develop, and implement high-impact software features and solutions
- Conduct and participate in code reviews, providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Ensure software quality through rigorous unit and integration testing
- Deliver development items, bug fixes, and technical solutions with minimal supervision7
- Participate in estimation, planning, and development processes for medium to large projects
- Design and implement solutions to complex problems and system defects
- Develop detailed use cases to support business requirements and technical initiatives
- Maintain company standards for coding, documentation, and technical assessments
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and resolution for customer, BA, and QA-reported issues
- Take ownership of projects or critical components of larger initiatives, providing technical leadership
- Proactively identify risks, challenges, and opportunities for improvement in requirements and processes
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually elevate team capabilities
What We’re Looking For
- Extensive experience with the full software development life cycle and software engineering principles
- Advanced proficiency in core PHP
- Understanding of JavaScript with JQuery
- Proven ability to design, develop, and implement complex software solutions independently
- Experience conducting code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and mentoring junior developers
- Strong background in unit and integration testing, ensuring software reliability and performance
- Familiarity with continuous integration, deployment practices, and modern software architecture concepts
- Solid understanding of design patterns and best practices for scalable software
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, capable of handling high-complexity tasks autonomously
- Keeps up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices
