What You’ll Do:

  • Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation for digital development initiatives.
  • Translate business needs into epics, features, and user stories, and manage work items/tickets in DevOps tools.
  • Apply a waterfall governance wrapper around agile delivery, including planning, milestones, RAID, and reporting.
  • Coordinate delivery across multiple cross-functional workstreams (technology, operations, business).
  • Influence and guide senior stakeholders on scope, prioritization, governance, and change control.
  • Prepare and maintain project artefacts: plans, status reports, RAID logs, decision records, communication plans.
  • Ensure alignment between business requirements, technical design, and delivery outcomes.
  • Support testing activities where needed, including UAT coordination and defect triage.

What You Bring:

Must-Haves:

  • Proven Business Analysis expertise combined with strong Project Management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering digital development projects end-to-end.
  • Strong understanding of agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban) and ability to overlay waterfall governance.
  • Experience working in tech teams or tooling environments to manage agile work items.
  • London Market insurance experience, ideally with delegated underwriting—or strong underwriting foundations.
  • Ability to influence and challenge very senior stakeholders, including those unfamiliar with project governance.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and facilitation skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience coaching business users through governance and delivery processes.
  • Background working across multi-team environments.
