HR Operations Lead

We are seeking an autonomous HR Operations Lead to be the single point of ownership for the local HR function. This role will focus on building scalable HR processes, ensuring compliance, supporting employees and managers, and driving operational excellence across the Hyderabad office.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior position, overseeing HR operations for a local office.
- Proven experience in the BPO or Tech industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong knowledge of India’s local labor law, statutory compliance, and HR best practices.
- Experience managing the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for complex data analysis, reporting, and executive-level insights to drive informed decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the full employee lifecycle for the Hyderabad office, while leading and supervising the local HR team to ensure a seamless employee experience from onboarding to offboarding.
- Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, company policies, and internal HR processes while maintaining accurate employee documentation and records.
- Serve as the primary HR advisor for employees and managers on employee relations matters
- Drive employee engagement and well-being initiatives that reflect company culture and values.
- Partner with business leaders to identify HR priorities, support organizational changes, and promote a positive work environment.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in HR processes and systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and data consistency in reporting.
- Ensure implementation and compliance of performance management processes, including documentation, employee relations actions, and alignment with global HR practices.
- Supervise and mentor local HR team members, ensuring quality service delivery and professional development.
- Collaborate with global HR teams to implement programs, share insights, and ensure continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with company policies.
- Track and analyze HR data to provide actionable insights and reports to the Head of HR Operations.
