BoundAI is building AI agents that automate complex insurance workflows, from submission intake through policy issuance. This role sits at the intersection of AI engineering, product strategy, and insurance operations, owning products that directly impact how carriers, MGAs, and brokers work every day.

This is an opportunity to shape production-grade AI systems in a highly regulated industry where accuracy, trust, and operational impact matter. You’ll work alongside a team of AI/ML engineers, insurance experts, and product leaders to define how autonomous agents operate in real-world environments.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience managing and shipping AI/ML-powered products used by external customers in production environments
  • 4–7 years of Product Management experience, including at least 2 years delivering AI, machine learning, or LLM-based solutions
  • Strong understanding of agentic AI systems, including LLM orchestration, tool calling, RAG architectures, and common production challenges
  • Ability to engage in technical discussions around model performance, confidence thresholds, hallucinations, latency, evaluation frameworks, and optimization trade-offs
  • Experience managing enterprise software products that integrate with complex systems and require governance, security, and compliance considerations
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working across technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience operating in regulated or data-sensitive industries such as insurance, fintech, legaltech, or healthtech
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into actionable product requirements

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience working within or alongside carriers, MGAs, Lloyd’s syndicates, wholesale brokers, or E&S insurance organizations
  • Familiarity with insurance workflows, policy administration systems (PAS), agency management systems (AMS), and document management systems (DMS)
  • Knowledge of ACORD standards, Statements of Values (SOVs), bordereaux reporting, or delegated authority frameworks
  • Experience with document processing, OCR, data extraction platforms, or structured data pipelines
  • Hands-on involvement in AI model selection, vendor evaluation, or enterprise AI procurement processes
  • Experience building AI evaluation frameworks, human-in-the-loop review systems, or red-teaming methodologies
  •

Why Join BoundAI?

  • Lead continuous product discovery to uncover opportunities for automation and operational efficiency
  • Write detailed product specifications that clearly communicate business objectives, user needs, and expected outcomes
  • Collaborate with AI/ML engineers on model evaluation, performance metrics, edge-case handling, and production readiness
  • Work directly with enterprise customers during implementation to calibrate agent behavior to business rules and system environments
  • Define and monitor product success metrics, including extraction accuracy, manual touch reduction, cycle time improvements, exception rates, and throughput
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies, models, and vendors to identify opportunities for product innovation and competitive advantage
