My journey with OIP Insurtech has been an incredible experience filled with opportunities to grow. I started as an Assistant Underwriter, gaining hands-on experience in policy issuance and operations. As I progressed, I took on more advanced tasks, joined the Quality Assurance Focus Group, and developed expertise in audit performance and quality control.
With time, I was promoted to Team Lead, where I mentored others and contributed to our team’s success. Later, I helped set up tasks for a new client, requiring both strategic planning and execution. My involvement in the Recruitment Focus Group was especially rewarding, allowing me to help shape OIP’s future by selecting top talent.

I joined OIP Insurtech in September 2022 as one of the first people to be accepted to the role of Key Account Manager externally. Each new environment can be scary at the beginning before you learn the ropes, but with OIP Insurtech, I’ve felt welcome and supported from day one. It did not take me long to see that this organization is built by capable and resourceful individuals, who are supported by a great organization and team infrastructure.
In OIP Insurtech, things are never boring, but even though changes can be scary, they are always for the better! There is so much room to grow, and no matter where your strengths > lie, if you commit and put in consistent effort, you will get recognized and you will be granted opportunities to develop your skills.
In just 2 years, I’ve seen this organization grow significantly, and employees on all levels and departments were able to grow with it as well. I look forward to future challenges and opportunities and remain confident in our ability to provide a stable working environment for all employees, as well as a fantastic learning ground for anyone looking to grow professionally.
It all started on March 26, 2018-my first academy class. Ten of us walked in, curious yet confused. “Where are we? Why is the teacher speaking English? Is he American? Wow, three monitors!” Two weeks later, the questions changed: “Can I really do this?” But with supportive trainers and a great team, I completed my first task-and it all started falling into place.
Before all this, I was a travel agent. So, what’s changed since then? A lot-and also not much. I’m still working with a team, just on a bigger scale. I’m still in front of a computer, but now I’m collaborating with underwriters instead of travel agents. And, of course, I’m part of a much larger company. In my team, I work alongside people from all sorts of backgrounds-English teachers, biologists, economists-and we all have one thing in common now: insurance.
As for my role today? I’m a Treasury Operations Associate, and I’m also part of the HR Recruitment group.

My first impression of the company was very positive. At first glance, it felt very unique, and the team was welcoming and professional. Everyone seemed genuinely engaged in their work, and the communication was clear and respectful. It gave off an organized, forward-thinking vibe with a strong sense of company culture.
My journey at the office has been a mixture of learning, growth, and adapting to new challenges. When I first joined, I was assigned to the task, which was very interesting, and I was still figuring out the workflow and understanding the team culture. Over time, I’ve grown more confident in my role, built strong working relationships. There have been stressful moments, of course, but each one has helped me learn and grow. It’s been a rewarding experience so far, and I’m excited for what’s ahead. If I had to sum up OIP Insurtech in a few words, I’d say it’s innovative, inclusive, intellectually demanding, and supportive. My best-ever moment so far has been joining the company, and my proudest accomplishment has been training new hires on my task and receiving appreciation for it.
I was part of the first group to join OIP Insurtech. Our training experience was incredibly valuable – we gained extensive knowledge, especially in the area of insurance.
