Our Business Development & Solutions team is now expanding and we are looking for
a Junior Sales Engineer in New York City who’s ready to dive into client-facing tech,
learn fast, and grow with us.

What We’re Looking For

Technical Foundations

  • Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON, or a strong willingness to learn
  • Familiarity with how data moves between systems
  • Interest in LLMs, OCR, and document-processing technology
  • Comfort working with Excel, CSVs, and structured data
  • Ability to learn Postman and other API testing tools

Insurance Workflow Knowledge

  • Submissions and clearance logic
  • Quote, bind, and issue processes
  • SOVs, loss runs, and major commercial lines
  • How underwriters review and validate policy information
  • How insurance data is structured and organized

Communication & Presales Skills

  • Ability to ask structured discovery questions
  • Strong documentation and note-taking skills
  • Clear communication with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Confidence presenting to clients and guiding conversations
  • High attention to detail when validating extracted fields

What You’ll Do

  • Support the full presales lifecycle in a hybrid client-facing and technical role
  • Assist with product demos, technical walkthroughs, and client presentations
  • Prepare POC materials (sample documents, test cases, extraction reviews,
    workflow validation)
  • Translate insurance workflows into clear technical narratives
  • Review extraction outputs and ensure demo environments reflect accurate,
    real-world data
  • Support proposals, solution documentation, and integration outlines
  • Learn how REST APIs, data flows, and AI-based document extraction work
    within client systems
  • Participate in client meetings and answer technical questions
  • Work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to relay client needs
  • Travel for client workshops, discovery sessions, and industry conferences
  • Gain direct exposure to enterprise clients and modern insurtech workflows
