Senior Business Analyst

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will act as a key partner to stakeholders and engineering teams, driving complex initiatives, influencing decisions, and ensuring delivery of high-impact solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead end-to-end business analysis activities across complex, cross-functional projects
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, shaping requirements and influencing strategic decisions
- Analyze business processes, systems, and data flows to identify optimization and transformation opportunities
- Drive requirements elicitation through workshops, stakeholder interviews, and collaborative sessions
- Perform deep root cause analysis and recommend scalable, long-term solutions
- Translate business needs into clear, structured, and actionable requirements (user stories, functional specs, process flows)
- Define and model data structures, integrations, and system interactions aligned with business goals
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, aligning business and technical teams on scope, priorities, and solutions
- Support and contribute to solution design, working closely with architects and development teams
- Ensure requirements quality through validation, refinement, and continuous stakeholder feedback
- Contribute to business case development and support decision-making with data-driven insights
- Promote and implement best practices in business analysis, improving processes, standards, and documentation
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
- Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies and help teams maintain structure, clarity, and delivery focus
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis or related roles, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Strong understanding of software development concepts, architecture, and system integrations
- Deep knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, or similar
- Strong domain knowledge in insurance, preferably Property & Casualty within US/UK markets
- Ability to lead analysis efforts independently, manage competing priorities, and drive initiatives end-to-end
- Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and define structured solutions
- Proven experience in mentoring junior analysts and contributing to best practices within the BA community
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in data analysis, process modeling, and solution design
- Proactive, ownership-driven, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments
